OMK were our very brave structural engineers, helping with the amazing barn in mid air trick, as well as working closely with the team from Aggregate Industries on the concrete structure design.

The Scottish Passive House Centre carried out the PHPP (Passive House Planning Package) calculations for us, as well as the passivhaus certification. Their sister company Dynamight Passive Solutions supplied our MVHR system and designed the ductwork. It was incredibly useful having these processes all under one roof.

Storm Geomatics did a fantastic job of setting the building out on site, using their high-tech kit to provide the groundworkers with column, drainage and base slab positions and levels to work to. It was really vital to get this right when using a precast concrete system – and very satisfying to see the hard work pay off as the precast panels slid neatly into place.
Storm Geomatics are based locally to us, but work all over the UK, primarily in the capture of data for fluvial watercourses, as well as surveying and site engineering.
